Cloud & Infrastructure. Modernise on a deadline.
Azure, AWS, and VMware migrations delivered on a fixed date and budget, with a named project lead. Disaster recovery you can actually rehearse, not just file away. Cloud costs baselined and kept in check.
The challenge
Cloud projects rarely fail because the technology is hard. They fail because the deadline slips, the budget bleeds in undocumented change requests, and three months later nobody's quite sure who owns the new environment.
You're usually modernising because something forces it — a hardware refresh, a vendor end-of-support notice, an audit finding. Either way, you don't have the calendar to absorb a project that runs late.
Our approach
We shape every engagement around the project, not the platform — a written scope, a fixed deadline, a costed budget, and one named lead who owns delivery. Colombo provides the engineering bench; the lead provides the single point of accountability.
Migrations follow a documented method — discover, design, pilot, wave, cutover, then hypercare — so there are no surprises on the Monday after. It's boring on purpose, because boring is what lands on time.
How a migration runs
Discover & design
We map what you have, agree the target, and write the scope, date, and budget.
Pilot & migrate
A proof migration first, then workloads moved in waves — Azure, AWS, VMware, or Hyper-V.
Cutover & hypercare
A planned cutover with rollback, then hands-on support until it's steady.
What's included
Cloud migration
Workloads moved to Azure, AWS, or across VMware/Hyper-V with a documented, waved method. Terraform for infrastructure-as-code; Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for delivery.
Disaster recovery you can rehearse
DR designed to your tolerable downtime and actually failover-tested — not a plan that only exists on paper.
Cost control (FinOps)
We baseline before you move, right-size on the way in, and put a monthly cost report in front of finance — reserved instances, savings plans, and turning off what nobody uses.
Hybrid & multi-cloud governance
Azure Arc to govern estates that span on-premise and more than one cloud, with tenant-level cost and posture visibility.
Engagement options
Migration readiness assessment
A fixed-scope review that qualifies the move and produces the plan, date, and budget.
Project delivery
Fixed-price wherever the scope allows, so you carry the outcome, not the hours.
Run it after
Step the environment down into managed services at cutover, so you're not left owning something new alone.
No other partner combines all of these capabilities under one roof.
The deliverable is the date
We commit to scope, deadline, and budget — with a named lead who's the single point of accountability.
No bill shock
Cost is modelled before you migrate and reported every month, not discovered on the first invoice.
Build it, then run it
Because we also run a service desk and security operations, a project can become a managed relationship at cutover.
Partner-grade, MSP price
Microsoft, AWS, and VMware partner depth delivered at Colombo economics.
Frequently asked questions
Fixed-price or time-and-materials?
Fixed-price by default — it de-risks you and rewards our efficiency. We only use T&M for genuinely undefined discovery.
Which clouds do you work across?
Azure and AWS primarily, plus VMware and Hyper-V for hybrid and on-premise. We govern multi-cloud estates with Azure Arc.
Do you actually test DR?
Yes — we run failover tests on a schedule. An untested DR plan is just paperwork.
Can you keep our cloud bill down?
That's the FinOps line: baseline, right-size, monthly reporting, and switching off what nobody uses.
